The
licensed Equestrian
centre is located in the Thames Valley on a spellbound 400 acre farm in
Royal Berkshire, 2 miles from Pangbourne village and within easy reach
of Reading, Newbury, London, Oxford, Windsor and Bath. The period
stable yard has a listed octagonal barn, large Victorian boxes, an
enclosed mews courtyard plus other traditional buildings with
interesting architecture. The Modern stable complex is a fascinating
new holmehold incorporating luxury stabling and client facilities, very
pleasing to the eye and thought provoking. |

The
riding school (ABRS
approved): Riding lessons for children over 4 years and adults of any
age. Learn to ride on a private, semi
private or group lesson, these are available for the beginner
and the more
experienced rider. Childrens parties, pony care, pony camp, childrens
holidays, gift vouchers, dressage, show jumping, cross country and
corporate days.
The
quality sweet tempered
horses and ponies
are carefully selected and suitable for all levels of equitation up to
BHS stage 3. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. See

We are very pleased to welcome our new addition " ITHACUS " our
Mechanical Horse, otherwise known as the Racewood Dressage Horse Riding
Simulator.
The Mechanical Dressage Simulator, simulates a life like horse which is
capable of performing movements from Walk to Piaffe. The
interactive screen shows the digital horse doing Piaffe, Passage and
Flying Change. The simulator is incredibly useful for
instruction
aimed at all riders at all levels.
The Mechanical Horse Dressage Simulator has proved extremely beneficial
to riders to overcome their nerves, gain confidence, increase fitness
and can help riders recovering from injury. Our Mechanical Horse also
includes a calorie counter, you will be amazed at how man calories you
burn in 30 minutes of riding our equisimulator.

Hacking
and trekking: These rides take you over unspoiled
countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty with rolling
hills, woodland tracks, open fields, and grass gallops. The scenery is
spectacular which ever way you look.

The
livery stables are brick and idyllic,
with use of the large softtrack riding arenas. Within the estate there
is a mile grass gallop plus farm tracks, open fields and woodlands.

Riding
and non riding holidays, escape
weekends, farm holidays, weekend breaks, short breaks, bed
and breakfast, lunch days, supper evenings. Stay in the homely
18th century historical
farmhouse with loverly views. The house has an Aga,
wood-burning
stoves and luxury en-suite bedrooms, plus all the usual facilities
associated with comfort. The garden has beautiful lawns with private
picnic areas, country flower beds, a heated swimming pool and
summerhouse within a walled garden. There is additional accommodation
in the comfortable cottage stable flats, unusual and original with many
interesting features. These stable flats are also suitable for self
catering.
